About Us

Mission Statement

The mission of the Coastal Cruisers Inc., Slidell, La., according to it's By Laws,

is to promote the hobby of owning, altering, building, and modifying Classic

Vehicles (pre-1981); and to encourage family participation in the hobby; promote

friendship, help fellow Clubs and organizations by attending their functions,

support our local community and charities, as well as educate the

public concerning the history, legend, repair, and building Classic vehicles.

The Coastal Cruisers is a non-profit Classic Car Club that benefits our community.
We promote interest in the sport of Street Rodding, Classic Cars, Muscle
Cars, Antiques, Customs and the sport of automobiles in general.

Our members support other local car clubs by attending their cruise nights, and we
also attend out-of-state car shows from Louisiana to Florida. We have also driven
our cruisers to Louisville, KY, to attend the National Street Rod Association (NSRA)
There's nothing better than getting on the interstate with numerous cars
and watching the other drivers “oohing and aahing” and giving a thumb’s up.

The Coastal Cruisers produce the annual Camellia City Car Show, which benefits
local charities in our community.

In past years, through the generosity of many, we have raised money to help
many different areas of our community.
A few of those are listed below:

Slidell Police Department K-9 Unit (7,000), Habitat for Humanity (5,000),
Slidell Parks & Recreation Department (5,000), Slidell Senior Citizens Center (5,000),
St. Tammany Humane Society (5,000), Crisis Pregnancy Help Center (4,000)
and The Children’s Advocacy Center/Hope House (4,000), Kids Unlimited Playground
